About The Republic of Tea
The Republic of Tea sells premium teas and herbal blends, from tea bags and matcha to iced tea, along with tea gifts, sweeteners and sipware.
Its promo offers can't be combined with any other sale, discount or code, so pick the single offer that cuts your order the most.
The Republic of Tea has been selling tea since 1992, and its menu spans black, green, white, oolong, hibiscus, chai and herbal blends, with decaf, caffeine-free and high-caffeine choices. Teas come in many formats beyond the standard bag, including full-leaf loose tea, bulk and refill bags, travel-size tins, single-cup samples, concentrates, capsules and bottled iced tea. Some blends carry Regenerative Organic Certified, organic or kosher certification, and limited runs appear for fall and the holidays, along with licensed teas tied to shows like Bridgerton.
Regular drinkers can set up the Sip by Sip auto-ship subscription and collect Tea Leaf Rewards points. Tea bought through Amazon or another shop is handled by that seller, not by the company.
When shoppers look for The Republic of Tea coupons
The Republic of Tea coupon searches peak in November, about 1.6× a typical month, and dip lowest in June.
Does The Republic of Tea offer free shipping?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on orders over $59 before tax and shipping, to the contiguous U.S. only, and glass bottled iced teas and 1/2 gallon concentrates don't count. (read Oct 21, 2026)
What is The Republic of Tea's return policy?
You get 30 days from delivery, but you'll need a return authorization number first, and the return postage comes out of your pocket.

How to use a The Republic of Tea coupon
- At The Republic of Tea, the promo code box sits in the cart, above the subtotal, so you add the code before you reach checkout.
- New shoppers get the 10% first-order offer by signing up as a Citizen first, and that code belongs to the first order only.
- Because no offer combines with a sale or another code, compare the 10% against the $5 off orders over $25 offer, which uses unique single-use codes, before you choose.
- The first-order discount won't apply to Gold in Your Backyard.
- Bottled iced teas and half-gallon concentrates still pay shipping, even in a cart above $59.
If your The Republic of Tea code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "$10 Off $25+ Purchases" needs an order of at least $25; "Free Gift on $75+ Orders" needs an order of at least $75.
- Exclusions: Free shipping excludes glass bottled iced teas and 1/2 gallon tea concentrates; the first-order offer is not valid on GOLD IN YOUR BACKYARD.
- Combining offers: Promo offers may not be combined with any other sale, promotion, discount or code.
- New customers only: "Now Live: Save Up To 10% On Your **First Order**" is for a first order.
- Where to enter it: A promo code box sits in the cart, above the subtotal.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at The Republic of Tea
- Tea Leaf Rewards lets you put points toward a later order when you check out.
- The Sip by Sip Auto Ship program suits a blend you reorder, though the site names no discount for it.
- A $200+ tea purchase comes with a mystery gift, handy for a big gift order.
- If you bought through Amazon or another shop, that seller handles the order, not The Republic of Tea.
