About Fellow
Fellow designs coffee and tea gear in San Francisco, including the Espresso Series 1 machine, Opus and Ode grinders, Stagg and Corvo kettles and the Aiden coffee maker.
Its 10% sign-up code is the main promo, but it skips most big-ticket items, among them Espresso Series 1, Opus 2 and every kit or bundle.
Fellow was founded in 2013 and designs its brewing gear in San Francisco, where it also runs a shop; a second store operates in Los Angeles. Beyond hardware, the brand runs Fellow Drops, a program of rare coffees picked by hand each week, and sells its own espresso beans, loose-leaf tea and matcha, along with travel mugs, glassware and a mixology set.
The site doubles as a learning resource through its Academy section, with product guides and how-to pieces on dialing in grind size, steaming milk and brewing pour-over or French press. Newer electric models come with a two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and buyers can add extended protection within a few months of purchase. Digital gift cards are sold on the site as well.

How long does Fellow shipping take?
Orders ship within 1-2 business days, not counting weekends or holidays, and usually arrive within 10 days of shipping.
What is Fellow's return policy?
Fellow takes items back in original condition within 30 days of purchase, or 30 days from delivery for pre-orders.
More about shopping at Fellow
- Return shipping
- A UPS label costs $15 for electric products and $5 for non-electric ones, and the fee is waived if you take a Fellow gift card.
- Final sale
- Coffee, personalized products and Rebrew refurbished gear can't be returned, so buy those with care.
- Sign-up code
- Fellow emails and texts bring 10% off a first order, with a code that expires within 30 days.
- Warranty
- Newer electric models such as Stagg EKG Pro, Ode Gen 2, Aiden and Espresso Series 1 carry 2 years, and extra protection can be added within 90 days.
- Orders abroad
- Fellow ships internationally, but orders outside the US get no prepaid return label, so you pay return shipping.

How to use a Fellow discount code
- Sign up for Fellow emails and texts first; the 10% code arrives after sign-up and lapses within 30 days.
- Enter it at checkout.
- Fellow allows one discount per order, though orders over $75 still ship free alongside it.
- The code doesn't work on Espresso Series 1, Opus 2, the Mixology Set, Clyde Electric Kettle, Dezcal descaler or the Artist Series.
- Kits and bundles, refurbished items, gift cards, gift boxes and personalization are out too, and it never covers shipping or taxes.
- Because kits are excluded, a Bundle + Save kit and the sign-up code can't share an order.
If your Fellow code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "$30 Off $300+ Orders" needs an order of at least $300.
- Exclusions: The sign-up code is not valid on Espresso Series 1, Opus 2, the Mixology Set, Clyde Electric Kettle, Dezcal descaler, Artist Series, kits and bundles, refurbished items, gift cards, gift boxes, personalization, shipping or taxes.
- One code per order: Only one discount per order, though free shipping still applies over $75.
- New customers only: "15% off your **first purchase** order" is for a first order.
- Where to enter it: Enter the code at checkout.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Fellow
- Bundles are where Fellow takes the most off big gear.
- Bundle + Save cuts up to 20% off kits, the Series 1 + Accessories bundle saves $194, and the Aiden + Grinder Kit saves $100.
- The Electric Kit saves 20%.
- Qualifying gear also earns free coffee credits through Fellow Drops.
- A Last Chance sale showed up to 25% off brewing tools when the page was checked.
- Fellow's Holiday Shop and gift guides go live in October, and the store runs holiday deals in the season.
Fellow questions, answered
Can the Fellow sign-up code be used on the Espresso Series 1?
The sign-up code excludes Espresso Series 1, Opus 2 and all kits and bundles. For the machine, the Series 1 + Accessories bundle saving $194 is the listed deal.
Can two Fellow discounts go on one order?
Fellow allows only one discount per order. Free shipping still applies on top once the order reaches $75.
How much does a Fellow return cost?
UPS return shipping costs $15 for electric products and $5 for non-electric ones in the US. Choosing a Fellow gift card instead of a refund waives that fee.
Can a Fellow order be cancelled after it's placed?
Orders go to the warehouse right away, so cancelling isn't certain. Most can still be cancelled within an hour of being placed.
How long do Fellow refunds take?
Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after the return arrives. Your bank may take another 5-7 business days.
Does Fellow ship to Hawaii and Alaska?
Fellow ships to all 50 states, US territories and APO/DPO/FPO addresses. Free shipping over $75 covers only the contiguous US.
