Ride1Up builds electric bikes, from commuter and folding models to fat-tire, moped-style and trail ebikes, and sells accessories and parts from San Diego.
Bundled offers and clearance bikes won't accept a coupon code, so decide which deal you're after before you build the cart.
Ride1Up was started by Kevin Dugger, a bike mechanic and builder who saw that decent electric bikes tended to start at around $2,000 and set out to offer one with quality parts for less. The company has been making ebikes since 2018, lists a shop in San Diego with test rides, and keeps a US-based support team of mechanics and former shop owners.
The lineup is built around named models: the Portola 02 folding bike with a torque sensor, the full-size Vorsa, the lightweight Roadster v3, the TrailRush eMTB, the German-made Prodigy v2 Eco mid-drive, the carbon-fiber CF Racer1 and the Revv1. Accessories cover cargo, pet and passenger carrying, racks and apparel, and replacement batteries, chargers, motors and keys are sorted by model. Every ebike comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

FedEx, UPS, Pilot or LTL freight takes about 1-6 days, or 5-10 business days for LTL, and bikes need a signature.

More about shopping at Ride1Up
Beyond the contiguous US
Hawaii and Alaska cost from $650 per ebike on select models; Canada starts from $100 per ebike, and Europe isn't served.
Return costs
You pay return shipping; an approved prepaid label takes $250-$350 off the refund, and parts carry a 25% restocking fee.
Cancellation
Cancelling before shipment costs a 3% processing charge; once processed, it's $250 per bike, or $350 for Revv1.

Gift cards
Choose $25 to $250 or a custom amount; cards expire after 5 years, with up to 4 cards ($400) per order.
Ride1Up's current promotions are price cuts on the bikes: End of Summer Savings takes up to $150 off select ebikes including the Vorsa, and the Revv1 FS shows $400 off.
Bundled offers can't be combined with other promotions, coupon codes or discounts, so a bundle and a code won't stack.
Clearance Portola and Prodigy bikes can't be used with coupons at all.
Promotions also don't apply to existing orders, so a code you find after buying won't be credited back.
Free shipping starts at $100 within the contiguous US, with exclusions.
If your Ride1Up code doesn't work
Exclusions: Clearance sales (Portola and Prodigy v2) are final, can't be used with coupons and are not covered by the 30-day return policy.
Combining offers: Bundled offers can't be combined with other promotions, coupon codes or discounts, and promotions don't apply to existing orders.
Some Ride1Up ebikes are HSA/FSA eligible, so qualifying buyers can pay with pre-tax dollars.
Affirm, PayPal and SplitIt let you spread the cost of a bike.
Ride1Up has run Black Friday and Cyber Monday Specials with Early Access, which lasted from Oct 16 to Dec 8 in 2025.
A clearance bike can look cheap, but the sale is final and the 30-day return policy doesn't cover it.
Gift cards from $25 to $250 last 5 years, so one can go toward a bike later.
