About Stio

Stio designs technical mountain apparel in Jackson, Wyoming, from ski kits and jackets to fleece, baselayers and pants for men, women and kids, plus bags, footwear and gear.

Economy shipping goes free on US orders over $99, and any discount code applies to the gear only, not to the $1.99 parcel protection fee.

Stio has been designing and developing its gear in the Teton Range since 2011, led by founder and CEO Stephen Sullivan, and its staff describe themselves as mountain athletes who create each piece together with athletes and adventurers. The brand's logo is a whitebark pinecone, a nod to the hardy pine that grows at high elevations across the Tetons and other western ranges.

Stio organizes its range by activity, from skiing and snowboarding to hiking, biking and running, and offers an online ski-kit builder and a resale program. It partners with conservation and outdoor recreation groups, publishes The Mountain Town Journal, collaborates with other brands such as Taylor Guitars, and covers its products under the Mountain Origins Guarantee.

How to use a Stio promo code

  1. Stio's discount codes cover the products in your cart, not the $1.99 parcel protection fee added to each order.
  2. Decide on that protection before you pay, since it's added by default and you can remove it at checkout.
  3. Watch promotional pricing as well: promotional items, All Sales Final and Stio Second Turn pieces can't be returned, so a deeper markdown trades away the 30-day return.
  4. Pros can check the ExpertVoice program, which shows its discounts at checkout.
  5. For a cart just under $99, one more baselayer can wipe out the $10 economy shipping charge.
