About For Your Party

For Your Party custom-prints napkins, matchboxes, cups, coasters, gift packaging and stationery for weddings and other events, all made in-house in Chicago by a female-founded company that has been running for over 20 years.

Before counting on a code, note the house rule: one promo code per order, and a Party Points reward counts as that code.

Sari Mintz started For Your Party in 2004 as a side project, and it soon grew too big for her kitchen counter. Shoppers can design pieces themselves with the FYP Customizer, picking colors and fonts or uploading a logo or photo, or hire one of the company's designers to do the work.

The catalog runs from cocktail, luncheon and dinner napkins to frosted and stadium cups, can coolers, custom plates and matchboxes in many shapes, including 30 Strike Matchbooks and a newer two-chamber box with white and black tipped matches. Stationery covers programs, menus, place cards and invitations. Products are sorted by occasion, from bridal showers and bar mitzvahs to Halloween and New Year's, and by named party themes such as Pearls and Prosecco and Western Designs. Corporate orders are handled as well.

When shoppers look for For Your Party coupons

For Your Party coupon searches peak in April, about 1.4× a typical month, and dip lowest in February.

US Google searches, Sep 2025 to Aug 2026. Search interest, not sales.

Does For Your Party offer free shipping?

Yes. Product subtotals of $199+ to the 48 contiguous states and APO/FPO addresses qualify with the dedicated free-shipping code, offered only from time to time.

How long does For Your Party shipping take?

a flat fee covers ground shipping on packages under 4,800 pieces in the contiguous states; 4,800+ piece orders get a custom quote.

What is For Your Party's return policy?

only unprinted, non-personalized items, within 15 days of the invoice date, with an RMA number and a restocking fee of 15% or $10, whichever is greater.

How to use a For Your Party promo code

  1. The code goes into the promo code area at checkout, and that single slot is shared with Party Points rewards, so redeeming points and using the 10% sign-up coupon on the same order is not possible; pick whichever takes more off.
  2. Codes do not work on gift cards, and orders of 5,000+ pieces skip codes altogether because quantity pricing applies automatically.
  3. Personalized pieces cannot be returned once printed, so spending $15 on the optional designer-checked digital proof, which typically adds two business days, protects a discounted wedding order better than any code can.
  4. Uploading original artwork adds a $50 plate charge per design, a cost to include when judging whether a percentage code is worth it.

If your For Your Party code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "Free standard shipping on $199+ (contiguous US and APO/FPO)" needs an order of at least $199; "20% off Sitewide + Free Shipping over $99" needs an order of at least $99.
  • Exclusions: Promo codes do not apply to gift cards or to orders of 5,000+ pieces, which get quantity pricing instead.
  • One code per order: One promo code per order; codes, including Party Points rewards, cannot be combined with other offers.
  • New customers only: 10% on a first order (sign up for the email list to receive a coupon for the first order) does not apply to repeat orders.
  • Where to enter it: Paste the code into the promo code area at checkout.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at For Your Party

  • Party Points accrue on purchases, reviews, social follows and referrals, and redeem in steps from 100 points for $10 off $75+ up to 1,000 points for $100 off $500+.
  • They expire after 1 year, and referral points vanish if the friend's order is cancelled or returned.
  • Sales typically last only a couple of days, as with a recent 15% off all napkins in the Fall Sale.
  • Large events benefit from bulk: 5,000+ pieces trigger a quantity discount on their own.
  • Local pickup from the Skokie, IL warehouse may be approved for a $5 handling fee instead of freight.

For Your Party questions, answered

Can Party Points be used alongside a For Your Party promo code?

Only one promo code fits per order, and Party Points rewards count as codes, so the two cannot be combined. Neither can be added on top of another offer.

Can personalized napkins from For Your Party be returned?

Personalized items cannot be returned. Unprinted, non-personalized items can come back within 15 days of the invoice date with an RMA number, less a 15% or $10 restocking fee, whichever is greater.

What happens if a printed order arrives with a mistake?

Faulty workmanship or materials are fixed by reprinting and reshipping the order at no cost. The complaint has to reach the company within 7 days of receiving the order.

How much does custom artwork cost at For Your Party?

Uploading original artwork adds a $50 plate charge per design, which covers two product types, plus $10 for each extra product type. A designer-checked digital proof is an optional $15.

Does For Your Party ship printed matches outside the United States?

Canada and other countries are served through FedEx at extra cost, with duties, taxes and brokerage paid on arrival. Matches carry a hazardous-materials charge and cannot go to every destination.

Is there a first-order discount at For Your Party?

Signing up for the email list sends a 10% coupon for the first order. It still counts as the one promo code allowed on that order.
