About Aceable

Aceable sells state-approved online courses for drivers ed, permit test prep, defensive driving and e-bike or scooter safety, plus real estate, insurance and mortgage licensing and continuing education.

The refund rule decides how safe a purchase is: a course can be fully refunded within 30 days of purchase, but only if you haven't completed it.

Aceable, Inc. builds its licensing courses to be taken on a phone or computer, through iOS and Android apps or a web browser, and splits lessons into short, bite-sized sections. The company says an in-house learning experience team designs them with instructional design practice, drawing on what it describes as more than 50 years of combined education experience.

Once a course starts, students have 365 days to finish it, and each course is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription. Driving students can add optional Allstate roadside assistance, which begins with a 30-day free trial before monthly billing. Beyond individual learners, Aceable runs a refer-a-friend program and a partner program, and it publishes a blog with safe-driving explainers such as guides to road warning signs.
