About Away Resorts
Away Resorts runs holiday parks across Britain, from Cornwall and the Isle of Wight to North Wales and Scotland, with lodge, caravan, glamping and touring breaks priced in GBP.
Only one discount or offer fits on each booking, and a code can't be added once the booking is made, so settle on the biggest saving before you confirm your dates.
Away Resorts was founded in 2008 by three friends, Carl Castledine (CEO), Neil Ryder and Greg Lashley, who set out to modernize the British holiday park. Its first park was Whitecliff Bay on the Isle of Wight, followed by Tattershall Lakes in Lincolnshire and Mill Rythe on Hayling Island, with Mersea Island in Essex joining in 2015 and Sandy Balls in 2017. The group now lists 25 parks across Britain.
Its parks mix traditional holiday staples with newer touches such as hot tub lodges, themed accommodation, outdoor cinema, live shows, archery and pools or splashpads, and many allow arrival on any day of the week. Alongside holidays, Away Resorts sells new and used caravans, lodges and residential park homes, with guides on ownership, subletting and running costs.

What payment methods does Away Resorts accept?
Debit card, credit card and bank transfer are accepted, and bookings made 10 weeks or less before arrival are paid in full.

- Breaks and deposits
- Breaks start at 2 nights and £50. A deposit of at least 10% holds the dates, with the balance due 10 weeks before arrival.
- Cancellation
- Cancel within 24 hours of the booking confirmation for a full refund. After that, charges apply, the deposit is kept, and leaving a break early earns no refund.
- Park Cancellation Plan
- Optional cover costs £18 (4 berth), £26 (6 berth), £34 (8 berth) or £12 for touring, added before booking confirmation.
- Refer a friend
- A friend gets £50 off a first stay and you get £50 off your next stay. Referral discounts go to new customers only.
- Black Friday Sale
- A time-limited Black Friday Sale with up to 15% off breaks was running at the start of November.

How to use a Away Resorts discount code
- Away Resorts takes offer codes while you book, and a code can't be attached after the booking is made, so have it ready before you confirm your break.
- Each booking carries a single discount or offer, which means the Black Friday Sale, an early-booking deal and a referral credit won't combine.
- Not every offer works at every park, so match the offer's terms to the park you've picked before you pay the deposit.
- If you later move a break, a voucher used on it can transfer to the new dates, but it won't come back to you as cash.
If your Away Resorts code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "£20 Off £200+ Orders" needs an order of at least £200; "£10 Off £100+ Orders" needs an order of at least £100.
- One code per order: Only one discount or offer per booking; offer codes can't be added after a booking is made, and not every offer is valid at every park. Referral discounts are for new customers only.

- Booking ahead is one route: the current early-booking offer pairs up to 15% off with a 10% deposit, and the rest isn't due until 10 weeks before arrival.
- Families save on meals too, since kids eat for £1.
- The referral scheme gives a friend £50 off a first stay and puts £50 off your own next stay.
- Weigh the Park Cancellation Plan as well: for £12 to £34 per break it protects a deposit that otherwise stays with Away Resorts once the 24-hour free cancellation window has passed.

Can you cancel an Away Resorts break and get your money back?
Within 24 hours of the booking confirmation, and before the holiday starts, you can cancel for a full refund. After that, cancellation charges apply and the deposit isn't refunded. Refunds take 7-10 working days.
Can two discounts go on one Away Resorts booking?
Away Resorts allows one discount or offer per booking. Offer codes also can't be added after the booking is made, and some offers don't cover every park.
What does the Away Resorts Park Cancellation Plan cost?
Self-catering cover costs £18 for 4 berth, £26 for 6 berth and £34 for 8 berth, while touring breaks cost £12. The plan covers cancellation for certified illness, injury, death, jury service or redundancy, and it must be added before the booking confirmation.
