About Babbel

Babbel is a language-learning subscription app with self-study lessons in 14 languages, and it has sold over 25 million subscriptions.

Alongside lessons, the app includes speech recognition for pronunciation, podcasts, games and Babbel Speak, an AI conversation partner, and the company cites studies of its method by researchers at Yale University, Michigan State University and City University of New York.
