Cover-More sells Australian travel insurance, with single-trip and annual multi-trip policies for overseas, domestic, cruise and inbound trips.
Every price comes from a quote, so a promo code only shows its effect once you've entered your trip details. The 21-day cooling-off period gives you room to rethink a policy before you leave.
Cover-More was set up in Sydney in 1986 and joined Zurich Insurance Group in 2017. It handles emergency assistance for Australian customers from within Australia instead of outsourcing it, supported by medical assistance centres located in the UK, Argentina and Australia, where nurses, doctors, travel agents and case managers work around the clock. The company also partners with travel agencies, airlines, banks and sporting clubs, and it is the NRL's official travel insurance partner.
Its international plans run from Basic through Comprehensive to Comprehensive+, and extra cover is available for skiing and snowboarding, motorcycles and mopeds, adventure activities, seniors and existing medical conditions. Every plan automatically covers 80 activities. The Cover-More app sends real-time safety information and offers tap-to-call help, and it won a 2023 ITIJ award for product innovation.
What payment methods does Cover-More accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal are accepted, and Afterpay covers policies priced from A$50 to A$600.

Policy changes
You can edit a policy online until the day before travel starts, and a single policy runs for 12 months at most.
Cover-More takes the code before it shows you a price.
In the quote box, next to the Get quote button, there's an 'Add promo code' link; open it and enter the code along with your destination and travel dates.
The quote then shows the adjusted premium for each plan.
Compare Basic, Comprehensive and Comprehensive+ after the code is in, because each plan is priced on its own quote.
If you want to pay with Afterpay, check that the final premium lands between A$50 and A$600, the range Afterpay covers on these policies.
More ways to save at Cover-More
Velocity members get a steady return here: 3 Points per A$1 on single-trip and annual multi-trip policies, bought on the website or by phone.
If you travel abroad several times a year, price one annual multi-trip policy against separate single-trip ones, though Basic isn't sold as an annual plan.
The cooling-off rule also helps if your plans change early: within 21 days, before you've left and without a claim, the refund is in full.
