About RVshare

RVshare is a peer-to-peer marketplace for renting motorhomes, camper vans and travel trailers from private owners across the U.S., with delivery, one-way and on-site stay options.

Saving here depends on the listing you pick, because each owner sets the nightly rate, the delivery and mileage terms, any extended-stay discount and the cancellation policy.

RVshare traces its start to 2013, when one of its founders came back from an RV honeymoon and wanted a way to put the vehicle to use while it sat idle. The company describes its aim as linking RV owners who want to earn from their rigs with travelers who would like to rent one, and its leadership team is headed by CEO Jon Gray.

Bookings come with identity verification for owners, bundled insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance, and free RV Rental Advisors help travelers choose a vehicle and plan a route. For owners, RVshare runs an Owner Toolkit and a YouTube channel with advice on building a rental business, plus a campground program and an affiliate program. Its site and app also carry trip guides to national and state parks, campgrounds and dump stations.
