About Ghirardelli
Ghirardelli sells its chocolate squares, bars, bags and gift boxes direct, along with baking chips, cocoa, hot cocoa and professional products.
The rule to know first: free standard shipping starts at $75 after discounts, counted per ship-to address, and a coupon can't be combined with any other offer.
Ghirardelli's own shop goes well beyond single bars: buyers can build a custom pick-and-mix assortment of SQUARES, order bulk case packs, or send business gifts to several addresses in one order. Seasonal holiday flavors and gift sets rotate through the range, and a recipe library covers cookies, brownies, cakes, truffles and drinks made with its baking products.
Orders ship only within the 48 contiguous states, with Alaska and Hawaii limited to faster services. In warm weather orders are packed with cold packs and insulation for free, and items leave with at least 45 days left before their best-before date. If a product disappoints, Ghirardelli will replace it or refund it when the claim comes within 45 days of purchase, along with photos and the product code.
When shoppers look for Ghirardelli coupons
Ghirardelli coupon searches peak in November, about 2.1× a typical month, and dip lowest in June.
Does Ghirardelli offer free shipping?
Yes. Standard shipping is free on orders of $75 to $599 per ship-to address after discounts, and multi-address orders don't qualify.
How long does Ghirardelli shipping take?
FedEx delivers to the 48 contiguous states in 2-5 business days, and an order up to $24.99 pays $12.95 for standard shipping.
What is Ghirardelli's return policy?
Contact customer service within 14 days for a refund or a replacement, and be ready to send photos; shipping charges aren't refunded.

How to use a Ghirardelli coupon
- Sign up for Ghirardelli emails before you build the cart, since the 15% first-order offer comes through that liSt. Coupons can't be combined with other offers, so a sign-up code may not work alongside a quantity deal like 30% off 12 or more bars.
- Price the cart both ways and keep the cheaper one.
- Then check the shipping line.
- The $75 free shipping mark is measured after discounts, so a cart just over $75 can slip under it once 15% comes off.
- Sending gift boxes to several people in one order?
- Multi-address orders are left out of free shipping, so watch the total before you pay.
If your Ghirardelli code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "Free Gift on $85+ Orders" needs an order of at least $85; "10% Off $150+ Orders" needs an order of at least $150.
- Combining offers: Coupons cannot be combined with other offers; exclusions apply.
- New customers only: 15% off a first order (sign up for Ghirardelli emails) does not apply to repeat orders.
- End date: "15% Off Chocolate Gift Box" ends Nov 23, 2026; "Up to 10% Off Your Order" ends Nov 23, 2026.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Ghirardelli
- Buying in quantity is where the bigger Ghirardelli discounts sit.
- Banner deals have offered 30% off 12 or more chocolate bars, 15% off six or more bags, 25% off gift bags and 15% off Custom Mix chocolate.
- Some products carry their own free shipping, such as 3 bags of Dubai Style Chocolate Squares or 4 bags of Crispy Cookies, which helps a small order that won't reach $75.
- If a product disappoints, the satisfaction guarantee gives you 45 days from purchase to ask for a refund or replacement.
