About Onyx Coffee Lab
Onyx Coffee Lab is a specialty roaster from Northwest Arkansas selling whole-bean coffee, subscriptions, tea, matcha, chocolate, box sets, brewing equipment and drinkware online.
Orders of $40 or more ship free, and because coffee itself can't be returned, that $40 line is the easiest saving to plan your order around.
Onyx Coffee Lab is a certified B Corp headquartered in downtown Rogers, with cafes in Bentonville, Rogers and Springdale, including Onyx at The Preserve, a full-day cafe and gathering space in Bentonville. Every coffee listing discloses the per-pound price Onyx paid the farm alongside the Fair Trade benchmark, and the roaster states that it pays no less than twice that figure.
Beyond single-origin releases and a weekly-rotating Roaster's Choice subscription, the catalogue includes ready-to-drink Cafe Expressions, Barista Provisions drink ingredients, Terroir chocolate and the yearly Advent calendar, with Advent 2026 on sale. Onyx also runs wholesale accounts, espresso repair, catering and creative consulting, and offers coffee classes at its 2nd Street Studio in Rogers, taught by Vanessa DeGraffenried, who heads research, development and public education.
When shoppers look for Onyx Coffee Lab coupons
Onyx Coffee Lab coupon searches peak in November, about 1.4× a typical month, and dip lowest in April.

How to use a Onyx Coffee Lab discount code
- Onyx runs on Shopify, so the discount box is in the order summary on the checkout page.
- Discount codes come through the Onyx email list, so sign up before you order if you want one in hand.
- Every online coffee ships whole bean, which means a grinder may belong in the same order; just remember that brewing equipment carries a $5 restocking fee if it comes back.
- The Advent 2026 early-bird pricing is a store deal on its own, so check that price before you type a code on the same order.
More ways to save at Onyx Coffee Lab
- Joining the email list is how Onyx sends its discount codes.
- Gift cards come in two kinds: a cafe card works only in the cafes, while an online card works on the site, and you can email to swap a cafe card for an online one.
- Each coffee page lists what Onyx paid per pound next to Fair Trade prices, and Onyx says it pays at least double Fair Trade, which helps you judge a bag's price.
- Grouping purchases so each order clears $40 keeps shipping free.
