About Twinings
Twinings sells black, green, fruit and herbal teas, loose leaf and wellbeing blends, plus hot chocolate, malt drinks, hampers and teaware to UK shoppers, with prices in GBP.
The rule that shapes your basket here is simple: one promo code per order, and it won't touch anything already discounted. Free standard UK delivery starts at £35.
Twinings has a flagship store at 216 Strand, and its UK site also books tea experiences and masterclasses and carries pages on the company's history, its team and its Sourced With Care program. Beyond the classic blends, the range stretches to cold-brew infusions, sparkling and matcha teas, and biscuits, chocolate and fudge.
For gifting, the shop leans on advent calendars, filled jars, compartment boxes and tea caddies. The site doubles as a tea guide, explaining where tea comes from, how it is made and how to taste it, with a glossary and recipes that use tea in drinks, desserts and iced tea. Businesses can apply to become stockists or trade customers, and a separate page covers a discount for key workers.
Does Twinings offer free shipping?
Yes. Standard UK delivery costs £3.95 under £35 and is free from £35; UK express is £6.95 via DHL within 2 working days.
How long does Twinings shipping take?
Standard orders leave within 2 working days and land in 5 to 7 working days; parcels over 5kg can't go to PO boxes.
What is Twinings' return policy?
You have 14 days from delivery to send back unopened tea at your own postage cost; personalized, perishable and short-dated sale items stay with you unless faulty.
What payment methods does Twinings accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, PayPal and Shop Pay are all accepted at the Twinings checkout.
Does Twinings have a student discount?
Yes. Twinings runs a student discount page and a key workers discount page; open each one for the current terms.

How to use a Twinings discount code
- At Twinings the code box sits in the basket, not at the final payment step.
- Type the code into the 'Discount Code' box and click Apply, then check the new total before moving on.
- Only one code works per order, so pick the one that saves the most on the tins and boxes you actually want.
- Codes skip items that are already reduced.
- That matters for the banner deals: the 25% off Superblends and Soulful Blends and the 28% off the Limited Edition Advent Calendar won't take a code on top.
- In a mixed basket, the code only lowers the full-price teas and teaware.
More ways to save at Twinings
- Build your basket to £35 to drop the £3.95 delivery charge, which a hamper or gift set can cover on its own.
- The Advent Calendar deal already includes free standard UK delivery.
- Students and key workers each have a dedicated discount page on the Twinings site, so check yours before paying full price.
- If a parcel goes missing or arrives damaged, Twinings replaces it free of charge, as long as you report a UK order within 18 days of ordering.
Twinings questions, answered
Can two Twinings discount codes go on one order?
Twinings takes one promo code per order. Codes also don't apply to items that are already discounted, so a sale tin keeps its sale price.
Can opened tea go back to Twinings?
Opened, tampered or consumed products can't be returned unless they're faulty. Faulty or not-as-described items get a 6-month window for a full refund, delivery and return costs included.
How long does a Twinings refund take?
Twinings refunds to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return. You cover return postage on items that aren't faulty.
Does Twinings ship to the US?
Twinings ships to the USA by DHL, with express in 2-3 days or standard in 6-12 days. Wood and wickerware can't go there, and Options, Ovaltine and Sparkling Tea products ship UK only.
What happens if a Twinings parcel is lost?
Lost or damaged orders are replaced free of charge. UK orders need to be reported within 18 days of ordering.
