About Gousto

Gousto is a UK recipe-box subscription that sends pre-measured ingredients, recipe cards and British fresh meat for 1 to 5 people, with prices in GBP.

New customers get the biggest saving: 50% off the first box plus discounts on the next seven, though it's one per account and doesn't combine with other offers.

Gousto's weekly menu runs to more than 175 recipes, over 40 of them ready in around 10 minutes, and a Heat & Eat range covers nights with no cooking at all. Recipes are grouped into themed collections such as Fakeaway, Date night, Family night and Health goals, there are dedicated boxes for vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and lower-calorie eating, and individual recipes can be customised.

The company is a certified B Corp and names its suppliers, among them Yeo Valley Organic in Somerset and ToFoo in Yorkshire (both since 2018), Jolly Hog in Bristol and Dunbia in Cross Hands, with seasonal produce from farms in West Sussex and Cornwall. Gousto bills itself as the best-value recipe box in the UK.

How long does Gousto shipping take?

Each box carries a £3.99 fee, while a new customer's first box comes free next day where available, which excludes some regions such as Northern Ireland.

The standard price starts at £3.20 per portion on a 5-recipe box for 4, before the delivery fee and any recipe surcharges.

How to use a Gousto discount code

  1. Gousto applies the new-customer discount when you sign up.
  2. It's limited to one per account and won't sit alongside any other Gousto offer, which means a code from elsewhere replaces it rather than adding to it.
  3. Compare the two before you choose, because 50% off the first box plus reductions on the next seven boxes is hard for a single code to beat.
  4. After that, the regular price applies, and every box adds the £3.99 delivery fee.
  5. Because there's no lock-in, cancel before the weekly cut-off if you only want the discounted boxes.
