Main Event runs indoor entertainment centers with bowling, arcade games, laser tag and virtual reality, plus a restaurant and bar and space for birthday and group events.
Prices vary by center and deals run only at participating locations, so the saving that matters most is checking your own center's specials before you drive over.
The first Main Event center opened in Lewisville, Texas in 1998, putting bowling, arcade games and dining in one building. Ardent Leisure bought the company in 2006 and took it national, and Dave & Buster's acquired it in 2022, making it the family brand within that group.
Centers also offer billiards, an indoor Gravity Ropes course and the Human Crane next to more than 100 arcade games. Main Event runs Open Lane Social bowling leagues, corporate buyouts and team building, school events with STEM-accredited Play Academy labs, and birthday parties in five packages. Depending on the location, guests under 18 or 21 need a guardian aged at least 25, and food and drink from outside are not allowed.
