About Medieval Times
Medieval Times sells dinner-and-show tickets: a family-friendly feast followed by a live jousting tournament, staged at castles in ten US cities plus Toronto.
The detail that decides your saving is a small asterisk. Coupons don't work on shows marked with one in the show picker, so check the date you want before you count on a discount.
Every evening at a Medieval Times castle is built around a tournament: six knights compete in jousts, sword fights and games of skill, while horses perform dressage and a falcon flies above the arena. Guests eat a four-course meal while the action plays out, and vegetarian meals are available.
Beyond general admission, the company sells upgrade tiers such as the Royalty and Queen's Royalty packages, which add better seats, a cheering banner and souvenirs. It also handles bookings for parties of at least 15, from birthdays and company outings to scout troops and summer camps, runs daytime field-trip shows for K-12 classes centered on the Code of Chivalry, and publishes educational materials about the medieval era.
When shoppers look for Medieval Times coupons
Medieval Times coupon searches peak in January, about 1.6× a typical month, and dip lowest in September.
What payment methods does Medieval Times accept?
Online ticket orders take Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express cards.
More about shopping at Medieval Times
- What you're buying
- A ticket per castle, date and show, with Royalty and Queen's Royalty packages adding preferred seating, a cheering banner, VIP status, photos and cake.
- Refunds and changes
- Tickets are non-refundable unless Medieval Times cancels the show, but you can move to another date with the same package for a reschedule fee.
- Coupon exclusions
- Any show flagged with an asterisk on the show picker is off-limits for coupons, whatever package you choose.
- Little ones
- Children under 3 get in free if they sit on an adult's lap and share that adult's plate.
- Extra costs
- Server tips aren't in the ticket price, and on-site parking is free at every castle except Toronto, where public lots charge seasonal rates.
- Booking from abroad
- The website takes orders from the US and Canada only, so visitors from elsewhere book by phone.

How to use a Medieval Times promo code
- Coupons for Medieval Times start in your inbox.
- Join the Queen's Court email list, or sign up for texts, and coupons arrive by email; read each one for its amount and how to redeem it.
- Then pick your castle, date and show online, and look for the asterisk before you settle on a time.
- A starred show won't take a coupon at all, so an unstarred evening that week is the better buy.
- Commit only when the date is firm, because the ticket is non-refundable once booked.
- If plans shift, moving to another date with the same package costs a reschedule fee rather than the whole ticket.
If your Medieval Times code doesn't work
- Exclusions: Coupons are not valid for shows marked with an asterisk on the show picker.
- End date: "Up to 40% Off Scottsdale Event Tickets" ends Dec 31, 2026; "15% Off Medieval Times Orders" ends Dec 31, 2026.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Medieval Times
- Groups of 15 or more can ask for special pricing through the Groups and Celebrations form, which suits birthdays and team outings.
- Families with a toddler under 3 skip a ticket by keeping the child on a lap and sharing a plate.
- The Royalty and Queen's Royalty upgrades bundle seating, a banner, photos and cake, so price them only if those extras matter to your party.
- Budget for the server tip, since it sits outside the ticket price, and for parking only if you're heading to the Toronto castle.
