About SIXT
SIXT rents cars and trucks, including premium brands such as BMW, Mercedes and Audi, and also runs the SIXT+ monthly car subscription and chauffeur rides.
Vouchers only work on new Pay at Pick-up bookings, so choosing a prepaid rate shuts out any code.
SIXT says it has 114 years of history and a fleet of over 222,000 rental vehicles, with German makes prominent. Beyond standard cars it rents convertibles, luxury models, SUVs, minivans and passenger vans, and handles one-way, long-term and airport rentals at US hubs such as JFK, LAX, Miami and Orlando. SIXT Share adds app-based car sharing, and SIXT for Business covers company travel and fleets.
A daily rate bundles the car, the chosen mileage, third-party liability cover, taxes and round-the-clock roadside assistance; fuel and extras are charged on top. The SIXT+ subscription includes maintenance and registration. Drivers who need adaptive equipment get it free with 48 hours' notice. The free SIXT ONE program has Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond status tiers, and the company also backs the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation.

How to use a SIXT coupon
- SIXT calls its codes vouchers.
- During booking on the website or in the app, open the 'Voucher and Bonus Program' section, enter the voucher and click Redeem Voucher.
- Pick a Pay at Pick-up rate first, because prepaid rates don't accept vouchers.
- The voucher also has to go on a new booking, not a reservation you've already made.
- If you planned to spend rental points, save them for another trip.
- Points can't be combined with vouchers, or with business, truck or partner rewards.
If your SIXT code doesn't work
- Combining offers: Vouchers work only on new Pay at Pick-up bookings (not prepaid rates); rental points cannot be combined with vouchers, business, truck or partner rewards.
- App offer: SIXT ONE members get up to 8%-20% off in the app, by tier, for orders in the SIXT app.
- Where to enter it: Enter the voucher under 'Voucher and Bonus Program' during booking (website or app) and click Redeem Voucher; only Pay at Pick-up rates qualify.

Can a SIXT voucher go on a prepaid rate?
Vouchers apply only to new Pay at Pick-up bookings. Prepaid rates are excluded, so switch the rate type before you redeem.
How much is the SIXT deposit in the US?
US deposits add a surcharge of $200-$400 for standard cars. Higher car classes carry minimum deposits from $500 to $2,500.
Can you end a SIXT+ subscription early?
SIXT+ can be cancelled with 7 days' notice once the minimum term is over. Returning the car early doesn't refund unused days of a 30-day billing period.
Does SIXT take debit cards at the counter?
Visa and Mastercard debit cards are accepted with extra requirements. At US airports, you'll need a matching return travel ticket booked 24+ hours ahead.
Does SIXT charge for adaptive driving devices?
Adaptive driving devices are free when you give 48 hours' notice. Surrogate drivers are also allowed at no charge.
