About Mood Fabrics
Mood Fabrics sells fashion and home fabric by the yard, including designer and deadstock closeouts, alongside trims, buttons, notions and sewing machines.
The rule to know before you buy: fabric and anything cut to size is final sale, so measure twice before a discount tempts you into extra yards.
Mood Fabrics organizes its catalog both by fiber and by project. Shoppers can browse silk, wool, cotton, linen, rayon, polyester, Tencel and blended fabrics, down to specific weaves like silk charmeuse, wool bouclé or cotton lawn, or start from a project such as bridal, suiting, swimwear, outerwear, lingerie, activewear, or costume and cosplay. Knits, lace, brocades and linings each get their own sections, and a performance range covers UV-protective, water-repellent, wicking and reflective fabrics.
Mood also runs physical stores, including one in New York, and its eGift cards work both online and in those shops. Designers and businesses buying in larger amounts can ask for wholesale pricing, which usually begins at 20 yards and is set up by phoning the New York location.
