About Burlap & Barrel
Burlap & Barrel sells single-origin spices, spice blends, honeys and spice sets sourced from small farms, plus a quarterly Spice Club subscription.
For saving, the number to know is $55. Domestic orders over that amount ship free, and several multi-spice collections ship free on their own.
Burlap & Barrel calls itself a social enterprise that grows alongside its partner farmers, and it is marking a decade in business. The company pitched itself on Shark Tank in April, and most spices come in small glass jars, with larger containers for heavy cooks. Chef collaborations are a regular part of the range, including Indian masalas that Floyd and Barkha Cardoz helped develop, with a dollar donated for each jar sold.
Its Wild Woodland Honey project grew out of a partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute and Dr. Goodall herself, and a share of each honey sale funds the institute's work in Tanzania. The site also hosts recipes, a spice forum, wholesale accounts and corporate gifting.
When shoppers look for Burlap & Barrel coupons

Does Burlap & Barrel offer free shipping?
Yes. Domestic US orders over $55 ship free, and the Fundamentals, Chef's, Chili and Complete collections ship free too.

How to use a Burlap & Barrel discount code
- Burlap & Barrel runs on Shopify, so the discount box sits in the order summary on the checkout page.
- Before you enter a code, check what your cart already earns.
- A cart over $55 ships free within the US, and spending $70 adds a free jar of Cinnamon Extract.
- If you're buying one of the free-shipping spice sets, the $55 mark doesn't matter for that set.
- Referring a friend earns you $10 off, which is worth setting up if someone you know cooks a lot.
More ways to save at Burlap & Barrel
- Bundle & Save pricing on spice bundles is the simplest way to pay less per jar.
- The multi-spice collections help twice, since the Fundamentals, Chef's, Chili and Complete sets ship free.
- Pushing a cart to $70 earns the free Cinnamon Extract, which can beat a small code if you'd buy that extra jar anyway.
- Refer a friend and you get $10 off.
- Canadian shoppers reach free shipping at $100.
- The quarterly Spice Club subscription is another option if you cook through spices steadily.
