About Sierra

Sierra sells off-price active and outdoor apparel, footwear and gear from name brands, plus home and pet goods, online and in its own stores.

The rule that matters most is the $89 minimum: the free-shipping code only works once your cart reaches it, and it can't be combined with other offers.

Sierra's catalogue is organized as much by activity as by shopper. Beyond the men's, women's and kids' sections, it has departments for skiing and snowboarding, camping and hiking, cycling, running and fitness, fishing, and team and racket sports, each with its own clearance area. Seasonal edits rotate through the year, such as wool and cozy shops for colder months and a tailgate shop for football season.

The site header links to the websites of sister off-price chains, and a store finder looks up locations by ZIP code or current position. Gift cards come as eGift cards or by mail, and balances can be checked online.

When shoppers look for Sierra coupons

Sierra coupon searches peak in November, about 1.6× a typical month, and dip lowest in February.

US Google searches, Sep 2025 to Aug 2026. Search interest, not sales.

What is Sierra's return policy?

Online orders have 40 days from the order date, and they can go back to any open Sierra store or by mail.

How to use a Sierra coupon

  1. Sierra takes codes at checkout, and that's where the free-shipping code from the offer list goes.
  2. Some Sierra offers are marked as not needing a code; those apply on their own once your order meets the stated minimum.
  3. Because the shipping code isn't valid with other offers, compare it with any automatic deal on your cart and keep whichever saves more.
  4. Sierra doesn't adjust previous orders, so a code you spot after paying won't be credited back.
  5. What Sierra charges for standard delivery under $89 wasn't listed on the pages read for this page, so look at the shipping line in your cart before you pay.

If your Sierra code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "Free shipping on orders $89+ with code SHIP89" needs an order of at least $89; "Free Shipping on Purchases of $75 or More" needs an order of at least $75.
  • Combining offers: The free-shipping code offer is not valid with other offers, and previous orders are not adjusted.
  • Where to enter it: Enter the listed code at checkout; offers marked as not needing a code apply automatically once the minimum is met.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at Sierra

  • Sierra's stock is off-price name-brand gear, so much of the saving is already in the ticket before any code.
  • Gift cards come as eGift cards or by mail, which suits someone who already shops for outdoor gear there.
  • If you're buying presents this autumn, the holiday extension lets online purchases made from Oct 4, 2026 come back as late as Feb 4, 2027.
  • Online orders can also be returned in person at an open Sierra store instead of being mailed.
