About Wool Warehouse

Wool Warehouse is an independent UK craft shop, opened in 2012 and still run by its founders, selling yarn, knitting and crochet patterns, needles, hooks, fabric and haberdashery.

One rule shapes most savings here: free UK delivery needs the basket to stay over £30 after a discount code comes off.

Does Wool Warehouse offer free shipping?

Yes. Evri or Royal Mail Tracked 24 costs nothing on orders over £30, counted after your discount code is taken off.

How long does Wool Warehouse shipping take?

Under £30, tracked Evri is £3.25 and Royal Mail Tracked 24 is £3.50; DPD next working day costs £4.95 and DHL £5.95, UK mainland only.

What is Wool Warehouse's return policy?

Unused, unopened items in saleable condition can come back within 60 days for a refund or exchange; you pay the postage and original delivery stays unrefunded.

What payment methods does Wool Warehouse accept?

Debit cards, credit cards and PayPal cover online orders, and cheques are taken by arrangement.

More about shopping at Wool Warehouse

Non-returnable: Patterns, leaflets, books and ribbon or fabric trims stay with you, and yarn from a color pack returns only if the whole pack comes back unused.
Faults and shortages: Report a faulty item, a shortage or a wrong item within three months of receiving the parcel.
Abroad: Parcels go to 120 countries, charged in GBP; US orders are capped at 1.8kg, with Royal Mail International tracked at £3.99 per package.

How to use a Wool Warehouse discount code

Add any discount code before you place the order, because Wool Warehouse can't apply one once the order is in.
Codes skip yarn packs, sale and discounted lines, gift vouchers, and Lopi and King Cole KC products, so a basket built from those brands won't move.
Check the total after the code comes off: if it falls to £30 or under, standard delivery charges come back.
Multibuy offers shown on the website work for online orders only, not phone or post orders.
NHS workers can contact the shop for its discount details before ordering.

More ways to save at Wool Warehouse

The Sale & Clearance section lists yarn and supplies at up to 50% off, though codes won't reduce those discounted items further.
NHS staff get their own discount by contacting the shop.
Gift vouchers come with an online balance checker, handy for a knitter on your liSt. Business buyers can place large orders, but those are non-refundable, so size them carefully.
VAT is added only to orders placed and delivered within the UK, so overseas parcels don't carry UK VAT.

Wool Warehouse questions, answered

Does a Wool Warehouse discount code work on sale yarn?

Codes don't apply to discounted or sale items, yarn packs, gift vouchers, or Lopi and King Cole KC products. Sale & Clearance prices of up to 50% off already include the reduction.

Is there an NHS discount at Wool Warehouse?

NHS workers can get a discount, and the shop asks them to get in touch for the details.

Does Wool Warehouse ship to the US?

US orders go by Royal Mail International tracked at £3.99 per package up to 1.8kg, delivered by USPS in usually 4-6 days. Customs checks can slow North American parcels.
